Teaching and physical fitness is a cornerstone of Jumprope.com!
Back in 1982 Susan Kalbfleisch, a physical education teacher with a Masters in Education, saw the poor quality jump ropes available to students and the lack of proper instructional materials for teachers as problematic for helping teachers to inspire students to engage in rope jumping. In 1983 Atec Marketing Ltd. was founded by Susan and Andy Kalbfleisch and the design of high quality jump ropes and jump rope resources began for teachers and students alike.
Jumprope.com does not compromise on quality at student's or children's expense!
Jumprope.com has been making premium quality jump ropes for schools for over 28 years at affordable prices. In fact, school pricing is achieved online with orders as few as 6 ropes. School and group order forms can be requested to eliminate the quantity minimum. All of Jumprope.com's ropes are assembled in Canada or the USA from parts manufactured in Canada. Our beaded or segmented jump rope products are especially suitable for outdoor playground use and feature a limited lifetime warranty for all handles and beads against breakage and defect in manufacturing. Our speed rope cord is tested for durability against our competitors cord and lasts 4 to 12 times longer on average.
Most schools in Canada know our ropes from participating in a national jump rope fund raising event for a charity that we supplied for almost 20 years until 2002 when the charity's suppliers were offshored. In fact, at tradeshows we see ecstatic adults bringing to show us the ropes they received in school when they were young, with their ropes still intact and perfectly usable!
Jumprope.com uses its recognized expertise to develop jump rope resources!
Since Atec Marketing's founding Susan Kalbfleisch has been advocating for youth fitness and using jump rope as an excellent activity to achieve the goal. She is a world renowned expert in rope jumping and has developed several books and videos for individuals and teachers. The latest resources developed by Susan include our very successful Jump2Bfit® Rope Skipping Fitness and Activity Program. This jump rope program is being used by many schools all over the world. Partnered with its DVD, wall charts, and instrumental music CD, the book provides the guidance for teachers, including those with no PE background, so that they can properly instruct students how to successfully jump rope as individuals, with partners, in double dutch and long rope activities. Jumprope.com also offers other targeted learning materials and posters for a school or group's reference needs.
Jumprope.com understands community groups!
Liz Way, Atec Marketing Ltd's current President, as a youth helped found a community rope jumping program for the town she grew up in. Liz is now an internationally recognized expert on rope jumping in her own right, as an author (S3 = Skip, Strength, Stretch and Jump Rope for Fitness and Conditioning), and as a presenter (AAHPERD, PHE Canada, OPHEA, Bermuda Heart Foundation, UK Heart Foundation, Hong Kong Jump Rope for Heart Program and more). Liz has recently partnered with a local community group to start and lead an instructional jump rope program for inner city youth at a school in her hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The joy and self esteem these disadvantaged children gain from participating in the program is inspiring to those involved.
Jumprope.com is supported by the knowledge from employee and advisor experiences as teachers, community group supporters, coaches and more!
