Aaloo Tikki Chaat
Add cumin seeds to hot oil, once they splutter, add chopped onion, saute’ till golden.

Add garlic and ginger paste and saute’ again for 2-3 mins.

Add boiled/canned chickpeas, salt, chilli pwd, cumin pwd and coriander pwd.

Add some water and let this simmer for 10 mins till water dries up. Mash few chickpeas.

Add garam masala in end. Chickpea gravy is ready.

For aalo tikki: Add salt, cumin pwd, coriander pwd and cornflour in boiled potatoes

Make roughly round shaped thin patties out of the mixture.

Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry patties till crisp and golden from both sides.
