8 Activities To Make Your Montana Trip Unforgettable
Visit a National Park! Glacier National Park is the most popular park that is fully in Montana. The scenery is breathtaking.
Yellowstone National Park is also a must-see. It’s mostly in Wyoming, but you can access the northern entrance from Gardiner, Montana.
Go for a hike! If you’re visiting in the warmer months, there are a TON of beautiful hikes. This one is Palisade Falls near Bozeman.
Go Snowmobiling! I’d highly recommend West Yellowstone, MT for this. They have some of the most popular trails in North America.
Try camping! Whether it’s summer or winter, as long as you have the right gear, camping in Montana under the stars is incredible.
Go fly fishing! Fly fishing is VERY popular in Montana, especially in the Big Sky area. You can rent poles if you don’t have your own.
Rent ATVs! These are so fun to zip around the mountains with. I’d suggest going to Butte or Dillon, MT to rent them.
Ski or snowboard! There are a bunch of places around the state including Bridget Bowl in Bozeman and the Big Sky Ski Resort.
Try white water rafting in the Yellowstone River. There are a number of places that will take you on a rafting tour.
