What you'll need
50cm of each
2 X Cotton fabrics
Scissors
Pins
Iron And Ironing Board
Cord Puller
Safety Pin
Download template and cut out 2 pieces of fabric for each layer.

Match right sides of each piece together and sew along curved edge with a 1cm seam allowance.

Snip into seam allowance of the curved seams and press to one side.

Top stitch the seam allowance down along the centre seam of each layer.

On the inner piece, press the straight edges down 6mm. Stitch down close to the edge roughly 3mm.

Pin pieces with right sides facing in and sew along the top and bottom edges with a 6mm seam.

Turn mask right side out and press. Top stitch along the top and bottom edges roughly 3mm.

Press the outer layer straight edges back 1cm. Pin and stitch in place to create drawstring casing.

To make cord, cut a piece 4cm x 50cm. Press edges in 5mm and top stitch to secure in place.

Use a safety pin to thread the cord through the top ends of the casing on each side of the mask.

Thread the ends through the clasp and tie each end of the cord in a knot.

Place a filter or tissue in between the layers of your mask

To wear, adjust the length of your mask using the cord toggle!
