Start by adding about 30 cardamom pods to pan and heat over med high.

Add one cup sugar or honey granules

Add one cup water, stir and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and add one tbsp almond extract. Let cool.

Attach cheesecloth to the jar you are storing the syrup in. Carefully strain the syrup.

Pour into coffees, lattes, teas or use for frosting, desserts, etc!
