Altered Book, Part 2
Roll a tail out of clay, flatten add wire, and cover. Make wing shape, add wires, and cover.

Glue extra clay in crease, glue tail onto it and shape tail.

Glue a body piece of clay to book, then add glue to attach wing, pushing wire into body.

Glue generously, add scraps of paper to add scales.

For the tail end, twist paper first, then glue on. Add book pages around tail.

Use different papers for different textures.

Roll, flatten, add wire for neck and attach to body.

Wrap another wire around and cover with clay.

Add glue on both sides of paper pieces and cover clay.

Add a little coil for horns and cover with paper pieces.

Roll ball for nose, glue on. Add another coil.

Push holes in clay for nostrils and poke in eyes.

Roll balls for legs, glue wires through, attach to body.

Finish bottom of legs, add 2 more wires to both legs for claws.

Paint paper pieces green, add black and purple mixture to background.

Mix 1/2 black acrylic paint and 1/2 Elmer's Glue-All, roll pieces of tissue paper, apply to book.

Decorate your dragon!

Decoupaging tissue paper on wings with glitter Mod Podge.

I glued beads in for eyes, then folded tissue paper over top half.

Dry brush grey and tan over rocks.
