How To: Mario Sequins Cake
Roll out your fondant thin enough to see your mat.
Add confectioners sugar & begin cutting your desired size circles!
Leave out to dry. Then arrange grid to plan your image.
Prep your colours by mixing vodka & colouring.
Draft out your image by putting coloured dots where they belong.
Now colour your heart out!
Leaving the circles’ sides white gives the image a “popping out” effect.
Leave to dry & so the vodka evaporates.
& let the fun begin!
Be consistent in your placement direction!
Be particular on placement, assuring straight lines to achieve a better effect!
The cake was in the fridge. I used buttercream as “glue” to have the circles stick. Only need a bit!
Add your final details!
