Kalay Channay Chaat
What you’ll need. Half a onion, 1 tomato, 3 chili peppers (optional) and bunch of cilantro.
1 tbs of salt, red chili pepper and chaat masala. 1 tsp of red chili flakes and cumin powder.
And of course your boil Kalay Channay. Make sure to soak them overnight before boiling them.
Finely chop half the onion.
Finely chop your cilantro.
Blend your tomato into a paste.
Add 2 tbs of oil and 1 tbs of ginger garlic paste. And your tomato paste. Mix well.
Add half your onions and cilantro you cut. Mix well.
Add 4 tbs of water and mix well.
Add your spices. Mix well. Add more water if needed.
Add 2 tbs of ketchup. Mix well.
Add the juice of one lemon.
Then add your Kalay Channay. I added about 3 half cups.
Cook on high until the liquid is thicken.
Take out in a dish and garnish with the leftover onions and cilantro.
This is a perfect iftari meal. ENJOY ⚡️
