1
Clean drawers and use Big Mama’s Butta to condition and smell wonderful!
2
Clean well with White Lightning, then assess any damages. Fill missing veneer with Dixie Belle “Mud”
3
This piece has amazing scroll legs, highlight them by staining in Espresso Gel Stain.
4
Prime entire surface with “Boss” this prevents bleed through tannins & stains on light paint.
5
Using Sea Glass cover all wood surface with a damp brush. This minimizes brush strokes.
6
Use two coats, waiting until dry between coats. Using a damp brush makes the paint go further!
7
First coat on! Note the Espresso stained legs.
8
Using Coffee Bean apply in grooves and edges. Blend back with Sea Glass. This provides depth.
9
Using separate brushes and a misting water bottle blend Haint Blue into a ombré drawer front.
10
Using Clear Wax and a wax brush apply to the entire dresser. Then apply White Wax for detail.
11
White wax highlights the edges and softens the look of the piece.
12
After you have buffed the wax, install new hardware. Mirrored pulls add a touch of glam.
13
Sand edges of the drawers and top to add a distressed look. Shabby chic!
