Apple Butter Pie

Roll out pie dough and place in a 9”pie dish, prick it with a fork and refrigerate
In a medium bowl add 1 ½ cups apple butter

Add ½ cup light brown sugar, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp cinnamon and ½ tsp ground nutmeg and mix well

Stir in 3 large lightly beaten eggs

Gradually add 1 cup evaporated milk

Fill pie shell with the apple butter mixture and freeze the pie

Decorate the top of the pie and freeze until ready to use. Bake at 375°f for 1 hour and 15 minutes
