Apple Cider Donuts - Three Ways
Mix 1/3 cup brown sugar into 2 cups all-purpose flour + 1/2 tsp baking soda.

1 tsp baking powder + 1 tsp apple pie spices + 1/4 cup boiled cider and 1/4 cup fresh apple cider.

3 tbsp melted butter cooled + 1 large egg. Mix well. Rest in the fridge for 2 hours

Roll out the donuts to about 1/2 inch thick on a light floured surface.

Cut to desired size w/ either a large or medium size donut cutter.

Fry in the hot oil 350 degrees for about one minutes on each side. Until a deep golden color.

Remove & allow donut to cool briefly.

Dip in a maple glaze of powdered sugar mixed with maple syrup.

Dip in a mixture of granulated sugar & cinnamon or coat with powdered sugar.

Donuts are best served warm & fresh.
