Artichoke Stamped Tote Bag
Let’s great crafty with food!
1
Supplies- Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Ink, Cotton Tote Bag, Artichoke, Sharp Knife, Cutting Board, Paint Brush, Fork (optional) and Cardboard.
2
Slice artichoke in half.
3
Place a piece of cardboard inside tote bag to prevent ink from bleeding through to other side.
4
Paint artichoke half with Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Ink. Fabric Creations comes in a multitude of colors. I used Navy.
5
Firmly press artichoke onto tote bag to create first stamp.
6
Add more ink between each press.
7
Other vegetables and fruits could be used too. Experiment and have fun with it. Cabbage sections would be great to use.
8
Add additional interest by stamping with the tines of a fork. Let tote dry completely and heat set with an iron.
9
All set for the market!
