Ashta- Clotted Cream
Remove the crust off 2.5 small french baguettes. Bread must be hard so leave it out beforehand

Cut into chunks

Bring 2.5 cups milk to a boil

On medium heat, stir in bread

Whisk until bread softens

Add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Once it begins to clot, remove from heat. Cool completely

Enjoy with simple syrup & crushed pistachios! Also can be used for atayef filling
