Soak the earthenware for an hour or two before beginning

Prep the veggies- baby corn, carrots, french beans, mushrooms and bell peppers

Sauté garlic, ginger, green chili, star anise and spring onion in oil

Cook the vegetables in sauté

Add salt, pepper, 2 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp vinegar

Add 2 cups water

Take 2 tsp cornflour and water, add to gravy to thicken

Add in 2.5-3 cups cooked rice

Garnish with basil, sesame seeds, spring onion and star anise
