Autumn Leaf Monogram Door Hanger
Twist together pipe cleaners to make one longer branch. I used 4 pipe cleaners to make a 16” branch
1
It will look like this
Use one full length pipe cleaner and one half pipe cleaner
2
Twist together the ends
3
Then twist the other end of the short pipe cleaner to the full pipe cleaner
4
Attach the leaf to the branch
6
Repeat with different colors to fill your branch
7
Keep adding working from the outside in
8
Once you get towards the middle cut off extra pipe cleaner from the leaves if needed
9
Continue to fill the whole branch with colorful leaves!
10
Draw your initial on cardboard
11
Cut out with scissors or an x-acto knife
12
Trace your initial backwards on the back of felt
13
Cut out the felt. I used two colors to make a two-toned initial
14
Hot glue felt to the cardboard
15
Here’s the felt all glued down!
Hot glue a paper clip to the back of your initial. It should be at the top center of the letter
16
Use twine through the paper clip to attach your letter to your pipe cleaner branch
17
Add another piece of twine around the center of the branch to hang on your front door!
