Bacon Cheddar Broccoli Soup
Slice 4 strips of bacon into small bite size pieces. Then sauté on medium heat until nice and crispy

Sautés your vegetables until softened and fragrant. (1 small onion diced, carrots diced)

Add in 4 minced garlic cloves and 4 tbs butter. Sauté until garlic is fragrant.

Add in 4 tbs flour and cook on medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Add in 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of low sodium chicken stock

Add in your seasonings. 1/2 tsp celery seeds, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 pepper. Bring to a boil.

Continue to cook until the soup thickens. The heat should me on medium low.

Mix in 1 1/2 cups medium shredded cheese.

Mix in broccoli. The key to keeping your broccoli nice and green. Is to blanch it and add very last.
