Add red onion and parsley to food processor

Add lemon juice and olive oil to the red onion and parsley.

Process on high to break up this mixture.

Add sliced garlic and salt, garlic powder and ground cumin.

Process on high to combine.

Add cooked green lentils to the food processor.

Process on high to combine. Stop to scrape down sides as needed.

Once the lentils are well incorporated, stop and add ground flax.

Process on high to combine ground flax into the mixture.

Add parchment paper to baking sheet. Spray with non-stick (avocado oil). Portion out 2 tbsp of mixture for each falafel.

Press down the mixture and form into patties. The mixture is pretty delicate but bakes well.

Place falafel in 375F oven for 18-20 minutes.

After baking, allow to cool at least 5-10 minutes.
