Grab your supplies. You’ll need a canvas, a paper plate and a few acrylic paints. Oh, and a balloon!
1
Blow up your balloon. Don’t go too crazy. The balloon doesn’t need to be fully inflated.
2
Squeeze a generous amount of your primary paint color onto the plate.
3
Add a few drops of your other paint colors.
4
Dip the balloon into your paint puddle. So satisfying!
5
Press onto canvas. Continue dipping and pressing. Add more paint if needed as you go along.
6
Cover entire canvas. Just look at all that glorious texture. Let fully dry.
7
Try different colors combinations.
8
Beautiful as is or...
9
Take it up a notch by adding more layers.
10
I used a stencil and metallic paints to add more interest to mine.
11
A glass jar is perfect for making circles.
12
Have fun with it! The balloon painting creates a great backdrop for all kinds of art.

Happy Balloon Painting!
