Balsamic Brown Sugar Brussels Sprouts

Gather your ingredients: 1/2 pound Brussels Sprouts, cut into quarters. 5 slices of Bacon, cut into bite sized pieces. 2 TBS Olive Oil, salt, pepper.

Ingredients continued... 2 TBS Brown Sugar, 1 TBS Balsamic Glaze + more for later.

Lay your bacon pieces out on a half sheet pan creating a single layer. Place in a COLD oven, then turn to 425*.

Slice your sprouts in quarters, or if they’re small, in half.

Drizzle olive oil on top of the Sprouts in a bowl, along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Give this a good toss.

Once the bacon is getting slightly crisp, remove from the oven, and drain on a paper towel.

Add your Sprouts to the pan (with the drippings remaining) and make sure to get flat sides down.

Roast at 425* for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, sprinkle the 2 TBS of brown sugar over the Sprouts, along with 1 TBS balsamic glaze.

Add the bacon back to the recipe, and give it a good toss to coat everything in the sugar and glaze.

Place back in the oven for a few minutes.
