Bang Bang Shrimp - Spicy, Easy
Put 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup cornstarch (56g) in a separate bowl. Put a little lemon juice. 1 lb jumbo shrimp (21-25 count) 453g are peeled & deveined.
Stir the milk to mix in. Add the salt & pepper to taste. Dip the shrimp in the milk to coat. Roll the shrimp in the cornstarch.
The temperature of the oil is very important. Try to maintain a steady 375 degrees.
Fry the shrimp 4-6 at a time. Drain the fried shrimp while you cook the rest of the shrimp.Once done, put them on a serving plate.
For Bang Bang sauce: Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise (113g) + 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce & 1 tbsp green dragon sauce.
Drizzle the sauce over them & serve immediately.
