Have ready ice water 🧊💦 and mix flour with salt in a large bowl

Add cold butter pieces and start to integrate

This method is called ‘leafing’ and it makes the crust flaky

Start adding tablespoons of water and continue mixing

Integrate until the dough starts to come together

Using the palm of your hand ‘stretch’ forward the dough while folding it onto itself

It will come together a little bit more with every turn

Pat into a round, wrap well and refrigerate or freeze as directed
