You’ll need fresh basil, olive oil, garlic, pine nuts (or walnuts) and salt & pepper.

Add 2 cups of packed basil leaves to the bowl of a food processor.

Add the garlic cloves, pine nuts, and a heavy pinch of salt & pepper. Pour in the olive oil too!

Gently pulse to begin blending, then blend until you have a slightly textured purée.

This is a great way to use up any extra garden basil!
