Beach Scene Phone Grip
Cut a strip of tape. I use electrical tape or blue painters tape. Add it to the bottom of a cup.
1
Using an exacto knife, pop the top of your phone grip off and attach to your taped cup.
2
Add a drizzle of each colorant to your phone grip.
3
Taking a small flat brush blend your colorants together. I wipe my brush in between colors.
4
You can speed the dry time of your colorants by hitting it with a heat gun.
5
Once your color is dry, mix equal parts of resin and apply a thin coat.
6
Separate a small amount of resin for your blue colors. Add a tiny amount to each cup and stir.
7
Drizzle your colorant mixes on then hit with your heat gun to help them move and blend. Let cure
8
Once cured mix another batch of resin and apply a thin layer.
9
Add a tiny drop of Armor Art to your remaining resin and mix well.
10
Using a small butane torch VERY quickly go over to pop any bubbles.
11
Using a toothpick drizzle your AA on and hit with a heat gun to create the cells.
12
This is how it looks immediately after torching. Don’t heat too much or you will lose cells.
13
Add a few small bronze glass pieces to the tan (sand) area before your resin cures.
14
Once cured add a final layer of Artist Resin and you’re done.
