Start by taping off the back of your wood block with plain painters tape. Elevate the block off of the mat. Paint the section where the water will go. Don’t forget the edges. Mix your epoxy and separate it into smaller cups, one for each color. Starting with sand, spread a thin layer on the unpainted section. Don’t forget the edges. Next is Cobalt, at the top. Remember those edges. Then add Aquamarine next to the cobalt. *edges* 😝 Fill in the last part with Sky Blue. Blend and fill in bare spots if needed. Hit it with a heat gun to pop any bubbles. Cover up any drips, fill in any bare spots. Drizzle the white over the areas where two colors meet. Hit the white lines with a heat gun to create the lacing. Use a small butane torch if needed to pop any bubbles.
