Gather your supplies.

Turquoise ink with water makes a great sky blue. Keep the bottom edge wet as you continue to work.

Use a darker blue for the ocean. Lightly touch the sea to the sky while both are still wet.

The edge colors will gently bleed together. For fun, I added a little silver shimmer to my ink.

When dry, add some dark blue splatter.

Choose beach words or a quote. Here are a few ideas ... sand castle.

Sandy toes sunkissed nose.

Sketch your words or quote in pencil. Try mixing two lettering styles. Go over it in ink.

Fill the top part of the block letters with wave caps. The white will help them stand out.
