Bee a Little Punny, Valentine - a valentine tutorial
Gather your watercolor and calligraphy supplies.
Start with watercolor to make a sky. Use a big brush to make wispy strokes. As long as the paint is wet, you can add paint or change the edges.
While it dries, think about your beehive. Here are some hive sections to help.
And think up a few bee pun possibilities.
When the watercolor is dry, add a bee pun in calligraphy.
Draw a beehive partially overlapping the sky. Using a pencil first might be helpful.
Next, draw some heart shaped bees buzzing about the hive. Leave some as outlines and color some in.
When the ink is dry, erase any pencil lines. Then fill your brush with light brown or ochre paint and tap it on your finger to make splatter bees.
Let it dry again, and you're finished!
Now, you can try another bee pun.
