Beef Jerky! The Pampered Chef Air Fryer Way

Who doesn’t love Beef Jerky?

My kids do! They always ask for it on Birthdays etc. so for around $15 you can make 2lbs! It’s easy!

Trim the fat off of 2 lbs London Broil Top Round that butcher has sliced into 1/4” thick pieces.

Cut into smaller pieces. Set aside.

Tell your dog child she can’t have any right now, no matter how much she begs!

Assemble ingredients

In your Pampered Chef Batter Bowl, add 1/2 cup of your favorite Bourbon. Don’t Drink any yet!

Add 4 tsp. Liquid smoke

2 tsp. Molasses

2 tsp. Cracked Pepper

4 Tbsp. each of Soy Sauce & Worcestershire Sauce

4 tsp. Each of Garlic and Onion Powder

3 tsp. Smoked Paprika, 1 tsp. Salt, ( for spicier flavor add 2 tsp PC Southwestern Seasoning)

1/3 cup loosely packed Brown Sugar and 2 Tsp. Honey and whisk together

With Pampered Chef Large Chef Tongs, put meat in a plastic storage bag

Pour liquid seasoning mixture over meat and seal, getting out all air

Store in refrigerator for 6-24 hours to marinate.

Pull trays out of Air Fryer ( this includes the top splatter one) and lay on PC large baking sheet

Using PC Chef Tongs, lay meat out on trays and let them drip for a minute or two

Put them as close together as possible on trays

Put all 3 pans in the Air Fryer as seen

Set dial to Dehydrater. Push dial to set to 3 hours and 170F degrees.

At 1 1/2 hours, switch bottom and top tray with each other

It’s Hot! Using Pampered Chef microwave grips, pull out trays to cool down

Is it done? Jerky should be able to crack and bend but not break
