Best Light For Food Photography
The most pleasant and easy to handle light in food photography is natural light.
Find a window and install your setting right next to it.
Use a reflector if the light is not bright enough or if you want to smooth out the shadows
Choose a single side source of light to control the contrast in your photography + add depth
Use oil/water in your styling to get specular highlights and give a 3d feel and a strong shape
Avoid direct sunlight and don’t forget to turn off any lights in your room.
Post process your photos for a clean and professional look; the light is soft natural and inviting
