Better-For-You Green Bean Casserole
Pour 1 1/2 c almond milk into a saucepan and add bouillon. Warm through, but do not boil.

Finely chop 1 carrot, 3/4 c mushrooms, and 1/2 medium onion.

Heat 1 Tb oil in a pan and add chopped veggies. Saute until onions are translucent.

Add in 1/2 tsp xanthan gum to the milk mixture (or 2 Tb cornstarch mixed with 2 Tb cold water.)

Add 1/2 tsp each salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder, marjoram, oregano, sage, & thyme.

Immediately pour in thickened milk mixture.

Add a can of drained french-cut green beans.

Mix 1/2 can French-fried onions into casserole & sprinkle the rest on top. Cook at 350° for 15 min.

Double this recipe to fit a 9×13 pan if cooking for a crowd. You'll want plenty...it's that good!
