Cut eggplants in a way that it splits into 4 section, making a plus

Fill in Chaat masala in the cuts. Push inside with finger or spoon

Heat oil in a wok, add chopped onions & garlic

Once golden add tomatoes, and all spices with a dash of water

When oil separates add tamarind pulp/tamarind chutney

Once masala is well cooked add the prepared eggplants, on a very low flame let them cook till tender
