Gather ingredients and combine spices

Place Cherries in mason jar and set aside

In a sauce pan over medium-high heat, whisk in water, honey, and vanilla

Stir in spices and orange peel. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and remove orange peel. Pour mixture into mixing bowl.

Stir the bourbon into the mixture.

Pour the mixture over cherries

Let the mixture cool completely at room temp before securing on the lid. Give it a good shake!

Refrigerate for at least 3 days before using. Cherries will last for 2-3 months in fridge.
