What you'll need
Rolled out pie dough

Pie Filling
Roll out your dough long and thin
Cut your dough into long strips, at an equal width (length can vary slightly)
Smush all 3 ends together and lay the middle piece over the top most strand, continue to keep flat
To extend braid, smush together the end of one strand with the top of another and hide with weave
Begin curving your dough as you braid to the shape of your design (this will prevent breaking later)
Carefully lift your braid onto the filled pie dish, keeping the braid flat and lifted as you shape
Bake as normal (cover pie with tinfoil for first half so as not to burn your design)
