Breweries To Try In Helena, Montana
If you love local breweries, Montana has great ones across the state. Here are the ones to hit up in Helena! (I got growlers to go to be COVID safe.)
Blackfoot Brewing Company was founded in 1998. They are unique in that they don't filter their beer like most breweries, leaving more hops and aroma.
They only have their brews on draught, so stop by for some great beer or get some to go! We enjoyed their single malt IPA.
Copper Furrow Brewing seeks to "focus on the integrity of some classic brews while offering Helena some fresh, dynamically cultivated recipes."
We got their IPA to go. Note that they have indoor and outdoor seating. The brewery was founded by David McKeever, Nick Diehl, and Mick Mondloch.
Missouri River Brewing Company was founded by three brewers, and they are located out in East Helena, so they are about a 12 minute drive.
They also have outdoor seating and their interior sounds really cool. We tried their brass monkey IPA! They are attaining a farm to table model.
Lewis & Clark Brewing Co. has the goal "to produce the finest ales and lagers possible and to serve them at their peak of freshness."
They have an indoor tap room and their canned beers are also very easily found in Helena's grocery stores. I like their Prickly Pear Pale Ale.
Ten Mile Creek Brewery is in a cool location along Helena's walking mall, with indoor and outdoor seating.
I've tried their Wood Knocker IPA and Juicy Fruit Hazy IPA. It was founded by Jordan Keltz, Ethan Kohoutek, and Riley Tubbs when they were age 24.
