Preheat a griddle to medium heat. Whisk 6 eggs, 1 cup half & half, 1/2 tsp orange zest, 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp salt.
Cut the brioche bread into 8 slices, 1/2 to 3/4 inch each.
Grease the griddle with butter/cooking spray. Dip the bread slices, one at a time, in the egg mixture, coating both sides, and place on the griddle.
Cook the bread slides on both sides until golden brown (about 1 1/2 min).
Serve with berries, syrup, and/or powdered sugar. Enjoy!
