Brown Butter Toffee Cookies
Begin by browning the butter. When you see brown bits forming in pan, remove from heat.

Let the butter cool completely.

Add eggs, vanilla, and sugars. Whisk.

Add salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cornstarch.

Mix well, and add flour.

Use your hands to continue mixing. Dough should be thick.

Chop up the Heath bars.

Add chopped Heath bars to the dough.

Use your hands to form cookie balls. Refrigerate for at least an hour.

Add cookie balls to baking sheets. Don’t crowd the pans. Bake.

A few minutes before cookies are done, add a few more Heath bar chunks. Continue baking.

Remove cookies from oven and add kosher salt.

Let cookies sit on trays for 5 minutes and then remove to cooling racks.
