Brussel Sprouts With Candied Pecans & Bacon
Start by pan frying your bacon

Until golden crisp. Then transfer to plate lined with paper towel and set aside

Remove all but 1-2 tbsp of the bacon fat and then add the butter to the pan

Add sliced onion and stir cooking it until it’s translucent and softened

Add the Brussel sprouts & cook a couple minutes until they turn bright green and start to soften

Then stir in the garlic and thyme, then slide pan into oven and roast 10-15 min

Toast pecans in small pan over med/low heat until just starting to get golden and fragrant

Place in a small bowl

Melt remaining butter in the same pan

Place pecans back into pan

Pour over syrup and sprinkle sugar over top

Toss in the bacon and

stir until well coated

Pour over onto plate or baking sheet and allow to cool

Remove from oven when done,transfer to serving platter & toss with caramelized pecans and bacon

Caramelized edges and loads of sweetness & crunch from the candied pecans & bacon
