Candied Orange Slices
Cut oranges in 1/4" slices

Boil slices for 10 to 15 minutes to remove bitterness

Make simple syrup with ratio of 2:1 sugar & water

Have simple syrup cover bottom of saucepan then simmer oranges for about 20 minute

Oranges should look glass-like when done

Set out on racks or parchment to dry overnight, coat with sugar
