Candied Pecan And Caramel Sundaes
What you'll need
1 pound
Pecans
1
Egg White
1 cup
Sugar
3/4 teaspoon
Salt
3/4 teaspoon
Cinnamon
Vanilla Ice Cream
Caramel
Whip Cream
1 tablespoon
Water
Preheat oven to 250F

Separate an egg white from the yolk

Combine the egg white and 1 teaspoon of water. Use an electric mixer to whip mixture until it’s white and frothy.

In another bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar with 3/4 tsp of salt 3/4 tsp of cinnamon. Mix to combine.

Pour 1 pound of pecans into the egg white mixture and fold in to coat.

Pour sugar over the coated pecans and mix.

Line a baking sheet with a silpat or parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray. Spread the pecans into an even layer.

Bake for 1 hour total, but stir pecans every 15 minutes so they don’t stick together.

Assemble the sundae. Start with candied pecans and caramel in a sundae dish. Add vanilla ice cream, more caramel, pecans, and whipped cream. 😋🍨
