Canning Dill Pickles
Gather ingredients.

Cut ends off cucumbers.

Add 2 c distilled vinegar, 2 c water, 1/3 c sugar, 1/4 c canning salt, bring to boil.

After bringing to boil at 2 T pickling spice, continue simmering.

Peel and lightly crush 4 large cloves of garlic.

Prep 4 large dill heads and fronds.

Slice about 5 cucumbers to fit 4 pint jars.

Place dill, garlic, cucumbers and pickling juice into sterilized jars.

Boil 15 minutes, leave in another 15 minutes.

Leave out 12 hours. Check for seal.
