What tools will you need...and the #1 rule you must remember when canning.

Clean your beans carefully. Cut off the ends and any bad spots.

Fill jars with beans and add 1 tsp canning salt. Add hot water and top with hot seals and rings.

Load your jars into the pressure canned and make sure they are completely covered with 1” of water

Seal your pressure canner and place the weight on 10 pounds of pressure. Set to medium heat.

You’ll hear the counter weight jiggle occasionally but if it’s more than 1-4 X per min reduce heat

Let the pressure come down completely before you remove the weight and lid. Remove jars and let cool

Check jar lids to make sure they seal. If they are not flat and pops when touched throw out.
