Home of the nation's only unicameral, this amazing building takes up an entire city block. Entry is free and guided tours happen every day.
You can also explore this art deco themed building on your own. Don't forget to go to the viewing deck on the top floor for some amazing views!
The possibilities are endless at this huge city park. Hiking, biking, and horse trails; a nature center with buffalo; a prairie; lakes and rivers!
This park has something to do for everyone and is truly beautiful in any season. In the summer they also have concerts at the ampitheater on site.
On the edge of downtown, this area is truly the hub of the city. Tons of bars, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, antique stores..it's all here.
Make sure to leave time to explore it all! On Saturdays spring-fall there is also a can't-miss farmer's market.
The Sheldon Art Museum/UNL Campus
On the University of Nebraska Lincoln's campus, the museum is a hidden gem. Entry is free and artists like Rothko and Warhol are on display.
Make sure to check out the sculpture garden too. Campus is full of beautiful buildings but Memorial Stadium is a must.
