Cara Cara Orange Rolls
Make sweet roll dough according to recipe, and allow to rise.

Mix 1 1/2 cup sugar with 2 1/2 tablespoons Cara Cara orange zest

Working with half the dough roll out on a floured surface to an 8 x 16 rectangle

Spread 4 tablespoons softened butter over dough

Sprinkle half sugar orange mixture over top of dough

Roll up dough and pinch closed

Slice in half, then slice 2 more times until you have 8 rolls, place in greased parchment lined cake pan

Repeat with next pan, then allow to rise

Once raised, bake at 350 F 45-50 minutes

While rolls are baking make glaze!

Cook down 1 cup sugar, 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup orange juice, 8 Tbls butter & pinch of salt for 30 minutes

Halfway thru bake cover rolls with foil to avoid over browning and continue to bake

Turn rolls out to first plate then flip to another plate so roll side is up!

Generously brush glaze over rolls

Serve warm!
