Catalina Island: The Perfect Outdoor Getaway
Hey guys! Chelsey here! Come with me along a weekend trip to Catalina Island off the coast of CA!
You will board a boat in Long Beach area. It’s about an hour long boat ride to the town of Avalon!
Currently masks are required on the boat and in the city center. Sit on top of the boat for views!
When you get to Avalon find a place to eat breakfast! We got food & smoothies from Cafe Metropole
Next up your going to take the cyclone boat over to Two Harbors (another remote part of the island)
This is what the cyclone boat looks like. It is actually a fairly smooth ride over!
Upon arrival to Two Harbors head to the beach and relax or jump in the water!
You are probably hungry by now, so check out the Harbor Reef Cafe for lunch and dinner!
Two Harbors is all about the outdoor experience! Plan to camp in one of these tents! Reservations!
Enjoy some epic views like this one! This is on the pathway to our campsite!
Don’t forget to bring water! I love my Stanley Quencher mug!
If you are up for a hike then I recommend doing the Upper Ballast Point hike!
Finish your night under the stars!
Completed by a bonfire and s’mores!
Start your 2nd day off by relaxing on the beach in one of these cabanas!
And in the afternoon head out on a snorkeling adventure! Rental gear is available on the pier dock!
Time to take the boat back to Long Beach! Grab a burrito for the boat ride back!
And say peace out to Catalina Island! It makes for a fun weekend trip!
