Chicago Neighborhood Guide: Logan Square
Hi, I'm Tanya! Logan Square culture is everywhere. To get there by public transportation, take the CTA blue train to Logan Square stop.
Early risers can cruise the Logan Square Farmers Market (open Sunday from 9AM to 3PM). A great place to sample local foods.
1
Across the street is Logan Square Park where locals enjoy people watching, rest, and conversations in the shade.
2
In the park, you'll find the Illinois Centennial Monument. It was built in 1918 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Illinois' statehood.
3
Walk north on Milwaukee Ave for shopping and dining options. Find some treasures during your travels at the El Dorado Thrift store. 🛍
4
Or catch a movie at The Logan Theatre. Don't miss the vintage bar.
5
Stop for refreshments at The Harding Tavern. Vegetarian burgers are available (ask for some crunchy fried onions on top).
6
Cool off with a creamy cup of Black Dog Gelato.
