To your right is the neighbor's oldest restaurant. Walk that side of the street & look for numbered posts that explain area history...

...the numbered posts are odd on west side of street and even on the east side. Walk north to visit boutiques, and enjoy different restaurants.

Continue north on Wells and note a few places that are worth a visit, like La Fournette Bakery for chocolate or almond croissants!
