With a beluga whale, hands-on sting ray experience, amphibians, octopi & more, this was a Chicago must. It’ll take you 3-4 hours to see it all.
Lou Malnati’s Deep Dish Pizza
Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza is bomb at Lou Malnati’s. It’s super filling but doesn’t reheat well so order accordingly. I got the Chicago Classic!
A gem located on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building, this lounge is a perfect for drinks and desserts after dinner. Make reservations!
If you have the chance to go to a Cubs game, do it! Luckily the Pirates played the Cubs so I got to see my team (lose).
Tickets are pricey, but worth it to see the historic ball field, there are no bad seats! Make sure to get a classic Chicago dog at the game!
Cloud Gate (the BEAN)
Located in Millennium Park, this free and photo worthy attraction is a great midday stop.
Make sure to snap a pic with your reflection and then one with the city’s long skyline reflection.
While you’re in Millennium Park check out the other sites like this beautiful fountain!
The best sights of Chicago are from the Skydeck. Be prepared with poses because you could be waiting over an hour and only have a minute for pics!
Professional shots are taken too. We purchased the online package for $40. Admission is $26 for adults, $18 for kids. For $49 you get expedited entry.
Take a walk or run down the riverwalk! You can also catch a ride on one of the many boat tours that takes you around the city to see the architecture.
A very trendy vibe, Hampton Social is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner. I got the seafood salad, tomato soup and berry mojito! Make a reservation!
Other fun spots to check out ➡️
Eataly is an Italian market. Get the passport for credits you can use for wine, focaccia, gelato, etc. Watch them make the mozz with a glass of wine!
Quartino is a perfect dinner restaurant with delicious fancier food. I ordered calamari, pasta with clams and white wine sauce and gelato!
Stan’s Donuts and Coffee is a cute little shop right down the road from the Bean! Stop for a quick treat on the way.
