Very thinly slice cooked chicken on a bias. This is leftover roasted chicken. You can also use grilled or poached chicken.

Thinly slice tomato by cutting it in half through the center. Score each slice so they are very thin. Then go back and cut all the way through.

Chop iceberg lettuce into small pieces. Cut an avocado in half and thinly slice.

Prepare sandwich bread by cutting a roll in half and spread on some butter.

Toast the buttered roll under a broiler on low for 2-3 minutes or until a light golden brown.

Put together the sandwich. Start by spreading some blue cheese dressing on the bottom piece of bread. Add a layer of sliced chicken.

Add the crispy bacon and sliced tomatoes

Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper. Smash avocado slices onto the top roll.
