In one bowl mix the dry ingredients: 1 cup of flour, 3/4 cup of cocoa powder, 3/4 tsp of baking powder and 1/2 tsp of salt.

Cream 1 cup of butter and 1 cup of sugar at room temperature.

Add 4 eggs - one egg at a time to the mixer. Mix and scrape well after each.

Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup of buttermilk and mix until combined.

Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until completely combined.

Preheat oven to 325C. Put cake batter in mini flute cake pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.

Place on cooling rack.

Add ice cream, chocolate sauce and enjoy! xo
