Chocolate Chip Cookies
Add 200g (2 sticks) melted butter at room temperature

Add 3/4 cup granulated white sugar

Next add 3/4 cup brown sugar

Cream sugars and butter together using an electric hand mixer until combined

Add 2 eggs to the mixture and 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon juice

Beat until you have a smooth mixture

Seperately in a bowl, mix 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

Add 1/2 cup rolled oats

Add 1 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Mix thoroughly the dry ingredients

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients

Mix with hand using spatula,do not overmix the batter

Pour 1 cup walnuts in the batter

Add 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Next add 1/2 cup chocolate chunks because chocolate is never enough!

Mix in thoroughly until well combined, be careful not to overmix or they will have a cake like texture

Scoop out cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet

Each cookie approx is 46gm roughly 1.5tbsp

Refrigerate the cookie dough for atleast 6 hours or preferably overnight before baking to your heart's content!

Place the cookies on the baking tray,space them apart allowing to flatten and spread

Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the bottom is slightly brown and the cookies is still soft

Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack. Store in a sealed container with a slice of bread to ensure softness of cookies.
