Chocolate Chip Cookies
Gather your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Using a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and kosher salt, set asideοΏΌ.

Combine the two sugars, the unsalted butter and pure vanilla extract.

Using a handheld electric mixer, blend together until evenly combined.

Add the large eggs, one at a time

Beat well after adding each egg.

Add the second egg

Blend the batter evenly

Add the flour mixture, 1/4 cup at a time.

Until the flour mixture is completely incorporated

Add the chocolate chips

gently fold in the chocolate chips and combine evenly

Add in the optional walnuts

Stir and combine evenly

Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough and place on the prepared baking sheet

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the sheet for 2 minutes.

Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
